Eclipse offer the latest design solutions for Passive Safety. Larry Taylor, one of the company Directors, currently chairs the Institution of Lighting Engineers Technical Committee sub Group on Passive Safety. Larry is also an active member of the British Standards Institute BSB/509/10 Break-away safety Committee and has been instrumental in assuring that all designers employed by Eclipse have an in-depth understanding of the requirements of BS12767 and the use of HE, LE & NE products.
With this knowledge, Eclipse has designed a significant number of schemes throughout the UK utilising a range of passive safety products from various manufacturers. These designs have encompassed initial risk assessments and the specifying of columns, signs, disconnection systems and barrier systems.
